The “Green” Journey: Small lessons, big impact

“How do we plant the seeds of environmental awareness in the next generation?”

At Hanoi Star School (HNS), the answer isn’t found in dry textbooks. It comes alive in every lesson, where students can hear, see, and touch reality.

💚 It is Connection: Beyond standard classes, parents step up as guest educators in the “Parents in the Classroom” project, bringing real-world expertise and practical experience to the podium.

💚 It is Critical Thinking: Our “young leaders” passionately debate climate change, seeking solutions for the planet with genuine concern.

💚 It is Experience: From tiny hands planting saplings for the “One Million Green Trees – For a Green Vietnam” campaign (celebrating President Ho Chi Minh’s 135th birthday) to nurturing plants, recycling, and sorting waste.

The results of this journey aren’t measured in grades, but in the growth of awareness.

“I learned that protecting the environment isn’t just a theory. It’s what I do every day: bringing my own water bottle, saying no to plastic bags and straws, and reminding friends to turn off the lights when leaving the room.” – Shared by Hanser An Khanh (4B0).

This is how HNS brings the “Education & Communication” criteria of the EQuest Green School standard to life:

🌿 Right Mindset ✅ Real Action 🥰 Green Living.
