On 13th September 2018, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between University of Missouri (Mizzou) and Institution of American Education (IAE) was held in Ho Chi Minh City.
Dr. Zachary March – Director of Mizzou K-12 and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Lan – Director of IAE K-12 represented both parties to sign the agreement. The signing of MoU expects to bring Vietnamese students the opportunity to take American High School Diploma here in Vietnam, setting a premise to study in top universities abroad.
According to the agreement, two members of IAE – IvyPrep Education and iSMART will conduct the test preparation while University of Missouri will award American High School Diploma. Students in grades 10 through 12 can register for the course at IvyPrep facilities nationwide or at iSMART partner schools that implement this program.
All Mizzou K-12 program and preparation courses are accredited by The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. It is one of six prestigious regional accreditation bodies in the United States of America. Qualified teachers from Mizzou preogram will teach K12s the standardised program of the United Sates through an active learning method with a flexible timetable in Vietnam, in line with the 4.0 technology era for education, which saves up to 80% the cost for the High School Diploma from leading universities as University of Misouri compared to other traditional learning methods.
The K-12 graduates achieving high score will have more opportunities to get scholarships from prestigious colleges and universities in the United States. University of Missouri specifically, will award scholarships to students with good academic results.
